About Dr. Licata

Dr. Giancarlo Licata prides himself on utilizing the world’s most specific and precise spinal corrective procedures. Dr. Licata brings to the Los Angeles area, from the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association, the latest gentle spinal care techniques.

By caring for patients with a variety of conditions, Dr. Licata is keenly aware of the importance of precision, sustainability, and reproducible results when it comes to correcting patients’ spines and nerve systems.

Dr. Licata is one of only 250 doctors in the U.S. trained in the NUCCA protocols and procedures. In addition, he has been mentored by the profession’s leading specialists throughout the country. Dr Licata is Board Certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the California Board of Chiropractic Examiners, an active member of the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association, the Upper Cervical Council and the International Chiropractic Association. He has hundreds of hours of post-doctorate training in advanced biomechanics, neurology, X-ray analysis, and clinical case management.

Dr Licata works in collaboration with leading health professionals in Southern California, including neurologists, functional neurologists, physical therapists, sports specialists, athletic trainers, nutritionists and naturopaths, to find the best solutions for patients’ care.

Dr Giancarlo Licata lives in Sierra Madre, CA with his wife, Sonja and his two children, Elijah and Gianna. When not at work, he enjoys running, hiking, and building Legos with this kids.
